Pam grew up under the warm sun of Delray Beach, Florida. After college at the University of Alabama, she returned to her roots, embraced by family and familiar shores. One summer night on Atlantic Ave, she met Dane—a striking Naples native with a spirit of adventure and a story that stretched from coastal North Carolina, where he served in the Marine Corps, to South Florida, where he’d come to attend flight school.
That summer, Pam and Dane’s story began to unfold through late-night dinners and endless conversation. When they decided to make it official, they dove into a journey of love and discovery, spending weekends exploring Florida’s hidden gems: the quiet beauty of Bokeelia, the clear springs of Central Florida, the vibrant colors of the Keys. They even flew with Dane in the pilot's seat to North Carolina, Alabama, and the Bahamas, where every trip deepened their bond.
Years passed, and their romance grew as they created a home together in West Palm Beach. Nestled near a boat ramp and just steps from the water, they embraced the life they loved—Pam with her garden, Dane with his fishing rod. There, they learned to withstand various challenges, from the pandemic to work demands and even Pam’s cancer diagnosis, they leaned on each other, transforming every challenge into a testament to their strength and love.
In 2022, a new chapter called them westward to Salt Lake City, Utah. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and endless skies, Dane continued his career in aviation, flying cargo across the Mountain West, while Pam started her own business and continued working as a Clinical Dietitian at a prestigious local hospital. They embraced their new life with joy, finding adventure in every season.
Then, on a glowing July 4th evening in 2024, high above Salt Lake City with a sunset spilling over the Great Salt Lake, Dane knelt and asked Pam to be his forever. Fireworks filled the sky, mezcal warmed their hands, and laughter and love sealed their engagement under a canopy of stars.
Now, they have chosen a place close to their hearts for their wedding: Franklin, North Carolina, along the serene waters of the Little Tennessee River. Here, at “The River House,” owned by Pam's mother and late step-father, Pam and Dane spent warm days floating on the river and making memories in the embrace of nature and family. They dream of sharing this place with everyone who joins to celebrate their love as two families come together to create new memories in a place that already holds so many.
We hope to see you there to share in the celebration of our love.
